Giving Back: How Leach Supports Local Charities

In The Community

  • Purpose-Driven Charity Support: Leach selects a Charity of the Year based on causes that resonate with its team, supporting them through fundraising events, – with Forget Me Not Childrens Hospice in 2025.
  • Community and Mental Health Advocacy: Beyond fundraising, Leach actively champions social causes like men’s mental health through partnerships with organisations such as Andy’s Man Club.
  • Empowering the Next Generation: Through collaborations with Fresh Futures, Leach supports young people from under-represented backgrounds by offering real-world insights into the creative industry and contributing design services

At Leach, giving back isn’t just something we do – it’s something we believe in. Whether it’s raising vital funds, giving our time, or opening our doors to inspire the next generation, we’re proud to support charities and causes that matter – not just to our business, but to our people and our local community.

Supporting Forget Me Not: Our 2025 Charity of the Year

Each year, our team chooses a charity that resonates personally and professionally with us. For 2025, that choice was Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, a Huddersfield-based children’s hospice providing crucial care and support to local families. As fellow members of the Huddersfield community, we’re proud to stand behind such an inspiring organisation.

We’re active members of the 99ers Club, a group of businesses committed to backing Forget Me Not through regular donation and meaningful collaboration. We even hosted a recent networking event at our Bradley HQ, bringing together fellow 99ers to share ideas and support this important cause.

Our efforts don’t stop at donations. From festive fundraising raffles to physical challenges, our team gets stuck in – literally! In May, 12 brave colleagues took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks, powering through a tough 24-mile hike to raise over £3,000. It was a fantastic effort and well worth it for a cause that’s helping so many families. And we’re not done yet. We’re continuing to support Forget Me Not with their charity shop opening in Huddersfield in August, with graphics and lightbox installations.

Andy’s Man Club: Our 2024 Focus

Before Forget Me Not, our 2024 charity of the year was the incredible Andy’s Man Club, a national organisation changing lives through one simple but powerful message: “It’s okay to talk.” Focused on supporting men’s mental health, the charity runs free peer-to-peer support groups across the UK. It’s great to be associated with a cause that’s helping so many men open up, speak out, and find support.

Partnering with Fresh Futures

We’re also proud to work with Fresh Futures, a local organisation dedicated to creating opportunities for under-represented young people. Our team produced and installed a bespoke wallpaper for them – completely free of charge – and recently welcomed a group of young people to our facility to learn more about what we do and how the creative industry works. We’re currently creating some large wall graphics for their ‘core values’ to make the internal space more inviting and welcoming. Plus in August, Dan and Russell will be testing their grit and taking on the ‘Tough Mudder’ obstacle course to raise more funds for Fresh Futures.

Looking Ahead More Than Business – It’s About People

At Leach, we know our success is about more than the products we create. It’s about people – our team, our customers, and our community. That’s why we’ll continue to champion the causes that make West Yorkshire stronger, fairer, and more connected.

Stay tuned to see what we do next!
