A number of design options were suggested before a bespoke profile, to achieve the corner detail, was brought to final design and tested. Once approved the manufacture could start on the four metre high columns with each one being a different size. A full prototype was produced and final details adjusted and tested.
The whole project was manufactured in-house at the Huddersfield site and delivered and fitted over the three nights prior to launch.
The store looked stunning and exceeded all expectations with the columns as the marquee items. Crowds flocked to the store blocking Oxford Street to catch a glimpse of the real Kate Moss, but saw a feast of larger than life versions of the Icon returning to Topshop.
