Tower Bridge Engine Rooms

3D Design and graphics for the Tower Bridge Engine Rooms

The Brief

Leach worked alongside the main contractor for this project and provided 3D design and graphics throughout. This was a complex job due to the unique and tight space available to showcase the engine rooms as well as allowing guests to walk through and absorb the exhibition. There were further complexities due to the fact the building sits below water level and all graphics and showcases needed to be sealed and water tight.

The customer specified that all graphics were produced in 3 languages – French, Spanish and English, again adding to the complexity of the project.

What Leach Provided:

  • Vault light panels
  • Fabricated interactive metal signage
  • Design, installation and manufacturing
  • Multi-lingual artworking
  • R&D into the complexities of the project
  • 3D design
  • Way finding graphics

The Result

Our in-house project team were able to call upon their years of experience and provided the dedicated support and solutions needed (including our multi-lingual artworking service) in order to meet these unique requirements.

Way finding graphics were provided to guide visitors carefully around the building, starting on the top of the bridge, leading down to the engine rooms and concluding with our impactful graphics, which showcase this unique visitor experience.

Throughout the project Leach worked within all health and safety requirements, so that visitors not only had an engaging experience but also a safe visit to this 100 year old building.
