HMS Caroline

Leach provided high quality, large-format graphics for this heroic ship

The Brief

HMS Caroline is part of the National Museum of the Royal Navy and located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The ship dates back to the early 20th century and was the last floating survivor of the 1916 Battle of Jutland. The iconic ship has undergone extensive restoration and visitors can discover a range of historic spaces, including the importance of the Battle of Jutland and find out what life was like at sea for over three hundred crew members who served on board.

Whilst working alongside The Hub Ltd, who were the main contractor for the project, Leach provided the entire graphic fit-out, which includes wall graphics and Leach’s flagship Vision lightboxes. These high quality graphics and lightboxes help the visuals and exhibition stand out from the crowd! The visitor attraction itself has recently been awarded a five-star visitor rating from Tourism Northern Ireland.

Vision lightboxes provide LED back-lit graphics and are the most vibrant and impactful graphics on the market. And it is this reason why they are used by some of the world’s flagship museum and heritage attractions.
