Boris Yeltsin Presidential Centre

Design and manufacture of printed glass displays and LED lightboxes

The Brief

The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Centre features a museum, exhibition and discussion centre, a branch of the Boris Yeltsin’s Presidential library and Centre for information and education activities and expertise. The huge three-storied modernist building holds tens of thousands of exhibits, including even a city trolleybus.

Working for renowned Spanish fit-out contractor, Acciona and New York Designers, RAA, Leach were commissioned to design and manufacture a complex suite of metalwork to create a complex network of printed glass displays and interactive LED lightbox units. Our design-specification process included prototyping in our Huddersfield factory right through to a six week site fabrication and installation programme in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
