It’s approaching the time of year when businesses from all industries start to look ahead to the next 12 months and share their predictions as to what may lie around the corner. But at Leach Impact, there’s a different reason for us exploring ‘what’s new in exhibition displays?’
We’re not just sharing our thoughts on trends – we’re hopefully helping to shape them!
We’ve been immersed in the events sector for some time and – given we have our own in-house innovation team – we’ve been working hard to break new boundaries when it comes to the exhibition stand solutions available to stand builders and end users alike.
We’ve witnessed that fabric graphics continue to be popular, for example, due to their striking photographic quality and illumination capabilities. But we’ve also heard how, time and again, they repeatedly fail during their installation – in fact the problem has become so commonplace in industry, that we wrote a white paper to help overcome the failings and maximise ROI!

But we didn’t stop there. Because large format fabric graphics are ‘our thing’ we knew there was more we could do to improve standards within the world of events. Other people recognised that too – did you see that we were recently appointed as the UK approved partner for beMatrix for instance?
And there’s more, which brings us nicely on to the question – what’s new in exhibition displays?
We’ve developed an innovative Tension Lock System which locks our fabric graphics into their aluminium frame and ensures a perfect fit, every single time.
This means that, should our fabric graphics be specified to fit a lightbox frame that hasn’t been manufactured by Leach, or a modular exhibition stand not produced by beMatrix, our graphics can be used with absolute confidence and retrofitted to anything with a 4mm channel.

The same assurance applies if the dimensions were not measured 100% accurately in the first place, if the manufacturer tolerance isn’t as tight as it would ideally be, or if the stand system is old or an odd shape. Our Tension Lock system – combined with a bit of print bleed – will ensure the neat, professional finish that was intended from the outset.
This doesn’t just provide unrivalled peace of mind when it comes to what is perceived as a risky exhibition stand solution – it also ensures quick and easy installations which are particularly important when working to time-pressured build-up schedules.
If you hadn’t guessed, it’s important to stress that we believe in our products offering clients flexibility. So, for the same reason, we can still supply fabric graphics with a sewn silicone edging, a full Tension Lock System, or a hybrid between the two. The key thing is to talk to us about what’s possible…
