Which large format graphic display packs the biggest punch?

But which products truly deliver the challenging briefs that are set out for them?

There are two particular solutions within Leach Impact’s portfolio of products, purposefully designed to deliver the ‘wow factor’ for clients. But which is right for you? We compare Vision and Stik in this latest blog, to help you decide…

Stik

When Stik was first revealed to the market, it won The Queen’s Award for Innovation – an indication of just how revolutionary this display product is. But why did it receive such prestigious acclaim?

In simple terms, Stik is an innovative magnetic wallpaper system used by brands such as Topshop, GAP and BMW. Not only does it provide fantastic brand exposure and a statement covering for walls – large and small, this clever solution is so easy to install, it offers a new-found level of flexibility for brands in their fast-paced business environments.

Gone are the days when a specialist installation team needs to be booked in to change a display. Once the 3mm-deep magnetic Stik base is in place, replacement fascias can simply be applied, with ease, time and time again. So, if fashions or seasons change, for example, a retailer can update graphics across all of their estate simultaneously, with minimal fuss and cost. And of course we’re on hand to produce new high quality prints, as soon as they’re required!

Supplied in approximately 1m wide drops, the Stik fascias fit neatly together to create much larger, impactful graphics that make people stop and pay attention. All you need is to apply the pieces of the jigsaw into place.

This lightweight product is also supplied in neat tubes, for quick, cost-effective and carbon-efficient delivery. The result is greater flexibility and less expenditure for Leach’s clients, without compromising on the quality of the graphics on display.

Stik certainly sets a high standard when it comes to the impact it delivers, particularly in the retail industry. So how does Vision fare?

Vision

Like Stik, Vision offers a striking, large format graphic display solution for wall coverings and in-store displays, small and large. But, it could be argued that this product has the potential to capture even more attention.

With Vision, graphics of unparalleled quality are printed onto tension fabric up to 5m high by any width, combining huge scale and quality! Clients simply tell us what they’re looking for and we manufacture the product to meet these specific requirements, from our in-house designed aluminium extrusions – be it a standard wall graphic, free-standing, curved, 3D, cube or column! The graphics are then applied via a discreet groove. The result is one beautiful piece of impressive artwork with no breaks or joins in the finished display.

But that’s not all. An illuminated (lightbox) version of Vision is also available, perfect for environments where maximum impact is required. Energy-efficient LEDs add an extra depth of atmosphere to the finished display and they’re typically twice as bright as competitors’.

Utilising our in-house expertise, we can take care of everything, from design, printing and fabrication, through to the on-site installation, if required. But, like Stik, the product is easy to change and update without any training, offering clients an equivalent level of flexibility. With both products, the logistical nightmare of a UK-wide campaign launch, for example, is therefore a thing of the past. Displays in 200 different retail stores can be prepared with ease overnight (and our nationwide crews will be on stand-by if you need any support).
