The Debenhams Foundation aims to raise £1m a year for charity. Outside of all the in-store fundraising and product sales, it allows employees, supporters and friends the opportunity to raise additional funds for the charities they care about most through any means they like.
And this year, Stuart Miller is taking on ‘Help for Heroes Big Battlefield Bike Ride 2016: Western Front’, a 350 mile journey which he must complete in 5 days. An iconic journey across Northern France, taking place 5-11 June.
Few words invoke the same feelings of horror and incredible loss as the ‘Western Front’ – a deadlock between forces during WWI and the scene of some of the most recognised battles in history.
The Big Battlefield Bike Ride will both remember those who were killed or injured on the Front, and celebrate the lives of those, Help For Heroes now collectively work to support.
Leach are proud to offer our suport to Stuart, and the Debenhams Foundation. We’ll certainly be cheering him on and wishing him all the best for this fantastic cause!
If you would like to help Stuart reach his £2,600 target, you can donate at his Just Giving page, or for more information on the Big Battlefield Bike Ride and other events, visit the Help For Heroes website.
