There’s certainly a reason to smile in the Leach Impact offices this week, as we’ve discovered that another award ceremony is on the cards!
Product Wall – a merchandise display system with integrated, illuminated and interchangeable graphics – has been shortlisted by the judges in the Lighting Product category. We’ll therefore be heading to The Grosvenor Hotel in London on 28 November – with our fingers crossed for success!

In our entry for this particular category – open to interior and exterior lighting products used in settings which included retail, creative and leisure – we were able to sufficiently provide the key inspiration and background behind the concept, what the product has to offer, and – crucially – what makes it so different.
Our submission discussed the design and development of the solution, the range of offerings available in the Product Wall range, and how the flexibility of the system makes it a retailer’s dream. It was also highlighted that Leach doesn’t ever ‘stand still’ in our thinking – we are always looking for new ways to innovate and make our innovations even more advanced.

Looking at the product in action, the entry clearly demonstrates how Product Wall has provided a visually striking and modern merchandising solution for Regatta, with the added flexibility required to enable the retailer to showcase its ever-changing footwear.
The system – which was produced on a bespoke basis for the chain – has provided Regatta with the ability to refresh its graphics and products on a frequent basis. This has enabled them to spark customer interest, retain retailer confidence, and further drive sales – delivering an ongoing ‘wow factor’, even as the seasons change. The company is now looking to roll the system out across its 200 stores due to the positive feedback and increased orders since installation.
Commenting on the announcement, marketing manager Michael Trevethan said: “We are over the moon with this latest award shortlist for the Product Wall. It’s such an innovative display system – that the whole team is proud of – so we’re thrilled to have all the hard work recognised.
“Roll on November – and good luck to the other candidates!”
