In the latest instalment of our new blog series – which focuses on the brilliant people behind the scenes at Leach – we enjoy 60 seconds with Russell Wilson, who reflects on his favourite projects to date, how he would describe Leach and his top tip for a client…

Role: Head of operations
Briefly describe your role:
My role includes not only leading our production and operational teams, but also our R&D department which is at the forefront of delivering the very best and latest solutions to our customer base.
It is my responsibility to ensure all projects are processed efficiently, on time and to budget.
How long have you been with Leach?
It will be four years in March – feels like only yesterday I joined the team!

What’s been your favourite project to date?
There are so many it’s impossible to pick just one!
Al-Salam Palace in Kuwait was incredibly challenging – largely due to the time frame, complexity and location – but the results were extremely impressive! We’ve also seen some great heritage sector projects featuring our ‘Vault’ signage recently – including work for The National Trust, The Forestry Commission and Scottish Wildlife Trust.
