In the latest instalment of our new blog series – which focuses on the brilliant people behind the scenes at Leach – we enjoy 60 seconds with Paul Wadsworth, who describes his role, his favourite food and what he couldn’t live without…

Name: Paul Wadsworth
Role: Head of finance
Briefly describe your role:
As head of finance for the business, I’m in charge of the numbers! This involves everything from reporting sales figures, our accounting system and all payments in and out of the business.
How long have you been with Leach?
Eighteen years – but it’s flown by!

What’s been your favourite project to date?
I have been fortunate in my Leach career to have been involved in quite a few of our major projects over the years! One such memorable event was the purchasing of our first Durst Rho inkjet printer – then helping to manage the transformation of the business away from a 100-year-old professional photographic processing lab, to the commercial large-format printing company it is today.
But my favourite has to be being involved in the relocation of the entire factory in Brighouse to our purpose-built building in Bradley, back in 2005. Moving all the machinery and infrastructure was no mean feat – I think we did a pretty good job!
Describe Leach in 3 words:
Professional, quality, reliable.

And how would your colleagues describe you in 3 words?
Loyal, hardworking, conscientious.
The best thing about working at Leach is…
The great team of professional, hardworking and dependable people that I work alongside – they’re a brilliant bunch!
What top tip would you give to a client?
That they should always come to Leach first, for all their graphical requirements – we provide high-quality products and are truly professional in all dealings.

And finally,….
What’s your favourite food?
I like most foods but if I had to just pick one it would have to be curry!
What’s the one thing you couldn’t live without?
I had better put Karen, my wife of 32 years – she will kill me if I put something else!
When I’m not at work you’re most likely to find me…
I would like to say on the golf course but, in reality, it would probably be at home – hopefully relaxing but probably cooking or doing household chores!
